Bio

In December 2006, T. Denounce and G. Kai collaborated on their first song, Cranberry Holocaust. The lullaby of man who smothers his sleeping lover immediately topped the charts at icompositions.com. Spurned on by the attention, they continued working together and completed their first album, Bad Reception, in 2007.

The music kept coming and before 2007 was out, Retrolust produced two more exploratory albums, “Pump It” and “Wired.” They had begun to perfect and hone their sound and method, and gained a small but loyal following.

Retrolust was contacted by a French Film Group VMGN and contracted to produce a song for their upcoming movie, “Phantomas Ressurection.” The song “Faceless” was specifically designed for the fan film, which helped garner Retrolust international attention.

In 2008, Retrolust reemerged with their fourth album Stereoroids featuring eight tracks of that signature sound everyone has come to love. Stereoroids is the band’s first exclusively digital release.

Following the successful release of Stereoroids, G. Kai recruited Eddie Crimson, Choirbox and Atom to create a live show. Retrolust is now performing at local San Diego venues, and in 2009, Retrolust was featured as Band of the Day on local radio station 94.9.

In 2010 the band plans on releasing their 5th album and doing a West Coast tour to help promote their unique mish-mash of modern Alternative and Electronica with that coveted retro sound.
