We are Return of the Steady Kingdom, Australia’s fresh new No Doubt tribute band. Our band consists of four guys and one girl who joined together in 2005, as nothing more than musically talented die hard No Doubt fans. Since then, we have put together 25 of No Doubt’s great punk/ ska tunes from their albums Tragic Kingdom, Return of Saturn, and Rock Steady, including 12 of their singles, as well as a ska / punk support set compiled of tunes from various bands to start the show with a bang.
Our objective for 2006 is to continue to expand our fan base and build a reputation of excellence.
Meet our band members:
Annette on vocals: Annette is a talented vocalist. She has been performing solo since a young age, and currently teaches vocal technique at a performing arts studio.
Gavin on trombone and keyboards: Gavin is a multi- talented musician who attended Newtown Performing Arts High School, and has never failed to place in the top three of all City of Sydney McDonald's Challenge Eisteddfords playing trombone.
Marcelo on drums: Originally from Brazil, Marcelo has been in popular cover and original bands in his hometown, playing for large crowds.
Simon on guitar: Simon is a born performer, whether it is rocking out with RSK or hamming it up at Karaoke he is only truly happy when on stage.
Nathan on bass: Nathan has extensive experience in both original and cover bands. He is a talented musician who makes music making look easy!
As a band, we enjoy putting on a memorable show leaving Australia’s No Doubt fans wanting more.
