Revenge on the Rocks

Nick Mayer started Revenge on the Rocks as a solo project in December 2007. Over the past few years there have been many members added and taken away from the project. But today, it is evident that the perfect line-up has finally been solidified. With Nic Monaco (17 years old) on bass, known for his creativity and incredible focus on the fundamentals of rhythm. Joel Keuhn (17 years old) on drums, known for his chaotic yet controlled style of drumming. Youngster Jason Ledesma (16 years old) on guitar, known for his unique playing style and "range-happy" vocals. And finally, Nick Mayer (17 years old) on guitar and lead vocals for the band, known for his amazing songwriting ability and versatile voice. It's apparent that this band might be written off as "just four kids", however, I would challenge the critics to take an actual listen to the music. With complex song structures, moving lyrics, odd-meter transitions, catchy choruses and undeniable chemistry it's been made apparent to all that have listened to Revenge on the Rocks, that "these kids" are here to stay. Blending a new breed of "alternative rock" with "old school emo" and a slight connection to the new wave of "post-core", while introducing unforgettable hooks and choruses, ROTR has only just begun to show the world of music exactly what they're capable of creating.
