Formed in 2006, REVENUE a Hip Hop/Urban R&B trio collectively joined forces in Birmingham, AL initially to establish Revenue Entertainment with ambitions to explore, as well as, excel in the entertainment industry. Engaging independently in the production and recording aspects of the industry, utilizing the majesties of their home-based studio (“The Green-Light”), the trio presents an embryonic, regenerative, and avant-garde sound that is certain to grab the attention of its’ listeners. Derived from a passionate will to entertain, REVENUE proclaims to their audience to “Muscle Up and Just Get It”, fully grasping the idea that if you want something out of life it’s solely upon you to go out and get it. Influenced by artist and groups such as: Dr. Dre, UGK, Scarface, Tupac, Lil’ Wayne, Jay Z, Nas, Kanye West, Common, Goodie Mob, Outkast, Notorious B.I.G, Snoop Dogg, Master P, N.W.A, Eightball & MJG, Run DMC, and 50 Cent; REVENUE figures on the forefront of the Hip Hop genre in Alabama, there is and abundance of undeniable talent yet to be discovered embracing the state. Driven by the will to entertain, REVENUE is continuing to push towards the mainstream/center stage with the release of their first unofficial album entitled “MUSCLE UP”, which includes their first single “Electric”. As an opening act for Soulja Boy and Bow Wow at the 2009 Jubilee City Fest in Montgomery, AL, scores of showcases, and headlining throughout the state, including the 2009 and 2010 Southern Women’s Expo; REVENUE, with its’ entertaining and varied deliveries along with their original “SETITONFIE” in-house production, is continuously aspiring to build, strengthen, and perfect their ongoing objectives.
