Bio

Not many bands get a second chance in the crazy business of music, but Virginia Beach’s REVERY is doing just that.

Signed to EVO Records in 2005 and distributed worldwide through Fontana/Universal and Red Eye distribution, the members of REVERY have been on quite a ride.

Their single “Popstar Wedding” was in full rotation on over 50 commercial rock stations across the USA for most of 2006, and charted on the Media Base Active Rock Song Charts at #53 (which made them the 53rd most-played song at the time on active rock radio. . .out of approximately 700 songs). They were also heavy favorites on satellite radio stations "Octane' and "The Squizz". Additionally, they had national press in Metal Edge Magazine, among other publications, and even an artist page at VH1.com. Criss-crossing the country, playing radio festivals and club gigs in 13 states honed the band’s live show and helped create a wide fanbase.

Although that chapter has closed for the band, the members learned life lessons in the record biz, and have decided that above all, SONGS are King! Touring with Candlebox, and having "Popstar Wedding" reach #1 on KCAL in Riverside, CA twice, reminded the band that they were headed down the right path. Revery, now label-less, has turned their sites on writing and recording new music.

With the addition of new management, REVERY has already started creating industry buzz, all without yet entering the studio. Revery's demo version of "Make It Right", from the upcoming LP "Adora de Phonic" received prime time airplay on Detroit's 101 WRIF in October 2013!

REVERY is the perfect blend of hard-hitting Active Rock, and hit songwriting. Having shared the stage with everyone from 3 Doors Down, Sevendust, Alter Bridge, Fuel, Shinedown, Slash, Drowning Pool, Candlebox, Def Leppard, and many others, REVERY evolved into a rock and roll machine, churning out amazing live performances, leveling clubs and making new fans with every show. Radio personnel and critics both agree that the band has an uncanny knack for writing solid hit-worthy songs - not just one, but several throughout the band’s body of work.

Vocalist, Jason Martinez blends elements from all the great frontmen and singers into his own brand of electric visual & audio transmission. Guitarists, Mike Doyle and John Adkins (both of whom were previously signed to Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger’s 604 Records as members of Hampton Roads favorites Sea Of Souls) create sonic guitar landscapes that encompass both modern and classic styles & always play for the track, resulting in songs that grab your ear with new treats after every listen. Jason Jacquin (Bass) and Tripp Johnson (drums) lay down the foundation and round out the lineup.

As a longtime favorite in the Va Beach/Hampton Roads market, the band established a strong fan base throughout the east and midwest while on tour in support of their national debut. Now, the band finds themselves back home, and ready to take another shot. In 2012, the band signed a music placement deal with Warrant members Erik Turner and Jerry Dixon’s Down Boys Records, which places music in film & television.

Revery has spent the majority of 2012 and 2013 crafting amazing new material and look forward to their next chapter. With a current track listing of nearly 30 songs to choose from for their upcoming LP, Revery is ecstatic to
get into the studio and lay down their final selection of songs in what will undoubtedly be their most important body of work to date. With the success of their debut album, "Avarice & Absolution", their latest effort, entitled "Adora de Phonic", will surely top the charts once again and in no time make Revery a household name.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the Return of Stadium Rock is here, and it's called REVERY!
