Bio

Reviance formed in July of 2002 with intentions to write their own breed of music. Through the end of 2002 the band worked on writing music for their debut album.

In February of 2003 the band went into Longhill Studios in Shelton, CT, to record their first album titled "To Draw First Blood". The album took four weeks to record. After the release the band began playing shows across Connecticut.

Throughout 2003 Reviance had made a name for themselves by playing many shows and even getting airplay on local radio stations. The band was being promoted on popular local radio stations through the summer of 2003, which helped their fan base grow. Reviance was also recognized by some independent record labels from the tri-state area, and a major record label from England.

January 8th 2004 Reviance lost their second guitarist, Matt due to personal differences. Soon after, Matt had left for Florida to stay with his family. On January 21rst 2004 the band invited Jeremy to play guitar for them. After several months, the members of Reviance came to realize that the chemistry with Jeremy was not working out. Though the members stayed good friends with Jeremy, Reviance began to take aim at a new direction. The band was considering moving forward armed with only one guitarist.

On July 23rd 2004, Matt had returned from his stay in Florida, and was reunited with Reviance. With the original line up back in place, the band looked forward to recording a demo.

September 9th 2004, Reviance entered SAE Studios in Manhatten, NY to record thier latest song titled "In Stillness Within". With hopes to finish the demo at a proffessional studio in northern Connecticut, the band was delayed by mixed emotions between the members.

October 11th 2004 was a day of changes for Reviance. Neil had left the band for personal reasons. The members of Reviance continue thier friendship with Neil and wish him the best in his future. Electing to not search for a new vocalist, the band decieded that Matt would be a good fit for vocals and guitar.

With thier new four piece line up, Reviance marches on. Beginning thier new journey by booking time in the studio to complete thier demo and release it to the fans. The future holds no bounds for Reviance, and they will remain as a powerful force in the music world.
