Revival was formed by Anthony Theodorakos and "Jesus" Jon Renner in the Spring of 2005. Both students at Berklee College of Music in Boston MA, they blended their influences of grunge, 90's rock and metal to create a fresh sound.
The sound and energy from their stage show and music amazed audiences when ever and where ever they played. They started playing shows in the surrounding towns of Boston including Framingham, Ashland, Providence RI, Hennicker, NH. In mid-2006 they released "Your Mom" a closet recorded CD.
Since then the band has had success with internet and FM radio air play; compilation distribution; a tour through Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York; Emergenza Boston semi-finals and playing shows through out the Boston area.
Spring 2007 they started recording a new release due in early 2008.
"We are motivated to play anytime and anywhere! We just wanna play and have a grand ol' time!"
Influences include but not limited to: Nirvana, Deftones, Hatebreed, Dead Can Dance, Johnny Cash, SOAD, Slayer, Lamb of God, Seether, Tool, etc.
