The best kept secret in music
Press
The debut effort from Toronto’s Revival Dear (formerly Samsara) comes bundled in a meticulously put together handmade sleeve.
Unique packaging aside, how does the album itself fare? Quite well, as a matter of fact. From the Palindrome’s 13 tracks have an organic feel to them, much like the cardboard sleeve they come packaged in.
Frontwoman Shelly Hayes bold, brassy voice is perfectly suited to the band’s classic rock-influenced tunes. She definitely sets herself apart from the current crop of female singers. Guitarist Nick Kruppa’s impeccable fretwork is another highlight.
The band that puts extra effort into the way they package their music is well worth your time. Luckily, Revival Dear has backed it up with an absolute gem of an album.
