"What's New With Revive The Radio?"

Whats new with Revive The Radio?

"Well, besides still pushing our new EP "Summer Was The Season To Remember" and playing shows.. we're in the process of writing NEW material and revising some older material. Also, we're always looking for a label! Nothing that new with us just right now."

"People can expect a some HIGH, poppy, fun energy from not only us. But, the headliners as well! Who are just amazing. The touring package - Icarus The Owl, Lights Out Dancing, and This Years Fashion are great. The venue is more of an "Intimate" venue. Small. Crowded. and not only that.. but, theres not a stage.. the bands will be on the same level as the crowd, allowing more interaction. (Which is what we thrive off of.) hence the "intimate"."
We became friends with them at a previous show we played with them on march 4th, 2010. One of our members was unable to play that night, so we just did an acoustic set. I guess they liked what they heard because they were scheduled to come back a while after that and asked to play with us, again! the tour date got canceled, sadly. But, now this is our chance to play with them for the first time, doing an electric set.

I'd encourage people to come out for it because the touring package are very talented and they deserve to have a crowd of as much as we can pack into that room! Also, we'd be glad to just hang out with anyone who came to that show before and after our set. We do that all the time anyway. - Village Voice Media

"LOCAL MUSIC NEWS"

They all may be only 15 years old, but the members of local pop punk band Revive the Radio are hustling just as strongly as older bands. The group, who says they've been kicked out of malls for passing out fliers, is currently promoting their latest EP, 'Summer Was the Season to Remember.' They're celebrating its release with a show this Saturday, September 4, at the Nile Theater. The group has already honed their chops at big venues such as Marquee Theatre, so you can expect a fun, energetic show where the guys insist on audience members clapping and dancing along. They say one of their biggest goals is to create a fun and positive environment at their shows, so get ready to sing along when they perform with Cardboard Stereo, King of the Moment, A Second Goodbye, Successory and The Shlum Shlums. Doors open at 6 p.m., and tickets are $10. See www.mesaunderground.com for more info. - Phoenix New Time's

Bio

Back in 2008, Joshua Capati was watching Green Day's Bullet in a Bible video and got inspired to start a band. Kole, who attended Josh's Junior high school was asked to join the band. Kole didn't have any skill at the drums but progressively improved as time went on. Caleb, the original bassist tagged along. Later that year, Gabe Hernandez was asked to join the band. Hernandez agreed to join.

For the next 2 years the band got shows, an audience and a lot of original songs. Caleb left in early 2010 to join a hardcore band.

Revive The Radio cycled through multiple bassist and stumbled across a friend of Josh's by the name of Cole Stevens (Nathan is his real name).

In early 2011 Gabe left due to many disagreements with music style and departed to join a hardcore band. 3 weeks later they found a new guitarist named Feyd. He and Josh met at a local mall.

Today, the band of 16 year olds, Revive The Radio has released 4 home made EP's, 1 Professional studio quality EP, and 2 singles. In the course of 3 years, they conquered more than what most older bands in that area. They played the Biggest venue in their area, and they headlined the legendary Nile Theatre in Mesa, AZ. They've gotten this far by themselves and they don't plan on stopping anytime soon. They are currently looking for a record label to broaden their horizons.
