Bio

This guys have been wreaking havoc in their native Miami, Florida since the Fall of 2007. Their music is a mix of Metal, Punk and Grind from the old school to the new school done in a very unconventional way. REVOLUTION found their ground breaking sound... And it showed. "As Heavy as A Sledge Hammer" is how their sound is described by listeners. Known for their explosive live performances, REVOLUTION won the 2008 Status Quo Award for “Best Live Show”. Having played hundreds of shows since then, at the most prominent venues of South Florida, REVOLUTION has become a household name in the local scene. Trying to bring up the Miami Music Scene has been our priority since day one. Hailing from the ashes of different local bands, Gery, Joel and Mr. Jhon started to jam. "We had several drummers, but none of them fit the band". Finding a drummer in Miami ended up being harder than we thought. We played several shows without a steady drummer. Finally, Kevin auditioned and within the first minute of the audition, we all knew we had found the fourth member of REVOLUTION.
The first official show was February 28th, 2008. The song "Hopeless" was featured in TLP radio en Tampa, Florida in the metal show BRUTAL BACKHAND. REVOLUTION was the featured band in the Peruvian radio station "MAXIMO VOLUMEN" having the songs "Never Again" and "Death In Paradise" in heavy rotation. The song "Never Again" has been featured in the KRYPTONITE ALLSTARS COMPILATION CD. Our First Ep. "Live To Fight"'s artwork was created by N.F.Romero. It was mixed and mastered by Mick Kenney (NAPALM DEATH, ANAAL NATHRAKH, DELIVERANCE). It is still on sale on ITUNES and AMAZON. The band was featured in Chicago's THE METAL DELI.
After over two years with the band, Mr. Jhon left the band for personal reasons. Several guitar players passed by the band. REVOLUTION went from being a four piece to five piece, then back to being a four piece band. At that point, Kevin leaves the band as well. Mr. Choupah enters the picture, making a perfect fit with the band. He decides to bring jamming buddy Mars. The band is now complete. REVOLUTION is back in the studio recording their first album, which will be called "WALK INTO THE GRAVE". Stay tuned!! Kepp Live music Alive!!! Now you started the REVOLUTION!!!
