Rexy!

Rexy was born in the beautiful islands of the Bahamas where she strutted down the church recitals scene at the young age of 4, singing and dancing to the songs her 'Grammy' Rose taught her. At home, Rexy's parents were constantly entertained with new choreography and plays that she often created. By the time she hit high school, Rexy had taken over the school's theater program, performing in numerous musicals, plays and talent shows. In her travels and experiences while living in the Caribbean, Canada, Florida and currently California, Rexy developed a diverse mix of musical influences; from the contagious riddims of dancehall music, to the golden 90's pop era of Britney Spears and popular boy bands, to the heavily melodic beats of Zouk, to the sensations of Beyonce.
Now as a songwriter and law student, Rexy has been crafting her sound to blend the right fusion of island, pop and edge. With dreams of performing on the world stage one day, Rexy shows no signs of slowing down, "I think that with hard work, heart and most importantly God, you can be taken places beyond your imagination...you just have to ask yourself, are YOU ready?, and I am."
