Rey D is a singer, songwriter and producer born and raised in Freeport, Grand Bahama(The Bahamas) but currently resides in Woodstock, New Brunswick(Canada).
From a young age he has always loved music and singing, and has been involved in numerous choirs, praise and worship teams, and music festivals over the course of his life. However, it wasn't until September(2017) when Rey D finally got serious about his craft and recorded and released his first single 'Holy Hands.' Ever since then, he has been writing songs and creating his own beats while also learning how to play the piano.
In January(2019) he released his debut inspirational album 'No Failing Faith.' Rey D has a style that incorporates multiple genres from Gospel to Rap/Hip-Hop to R&B to Pop to Reggae.
He is also the winner of the African Nova Scotian Music Association(ANSMA) Rising Star of the Year Award for 2019.
Rey D hopes to inspire listeners with songs of encouragement, faith, hope, love and about his life.
