Having been raised in Surrey and rapping since he was 17, Rey Steez is no stranger to the competitive and fast-paced Vancouver hip hop scene. His strong work ethic and blind ambition to reach the top has earned him massive attention
from both industry peers and music fans alike.
Rey Steez's no holds barred attitude and spontaneity when writing lyrics has created an unmatched combination of ear-catching rhymes and thought provoking perspectives on life. He has taken musical inspiration and added his own modern twist to the musical styles of the best hip hop and R&B artists of the late 90s and early 2000s.
Rey Steez has rapped under Surrey ENT with Kid Fresh, Dro, and Swisher, and headlined local nightclubs such as Blvd 22, Tunnel, and Fortune. His competitive nature has kept him on his toes, even through difficult times and life
