Rodney and Greg originally were part of an acapella group by the name of LIGHT an acronym for 'living in great harmony together'.
IN 1996 the group entered a competition, with a song penned by Greg and arranged by John Roett a local and international Barbadian musician, this took them to the finals, sadly after this competition the group went their separate ways.
At this stage Rodney and Greg decided that they wanted to continue with their music, which is where the hard work was about to start!!!
In 1998 they entered a local jingle competition and won first prize, this gave them the encouragement to go forward and record a cd.
The end result being 'A Love to Remember 'all the songs where written and performed by Rodney and Greg.
The album represents the influences, life and times in Barbados. It took five years of hard work and sacrifice for Rodney and Greg to become R & G.
The album was received very well by local music stations and fans.
Rodney and Greg are now ready to pursue their music careers again after a break from the music scene, during this time though they have been busy writing more songs and working with local artists on various projects.
Influences Earth,Wind and Fire,Brian McKnight John Legend.
At present we are just shooting a video plus a promotional video,our music is very much true R & B.
Music is their Passion.
