Bio
Rhett Tyler was born in San Antonio, TX and grew up in the mid-west. His career spans over four decades of innovative musical artistry with a passion for the blues. Rhett is best known for his captivating and entertaining high energy live performances filled with sizzling guitar licks, compelling rhythms, and passionate heartfelt vocals. He has an uncanny natural ability to draw listeners into his world and take them on a journey with simple chord changes, subtle single string bends and mind boggling blistering runs. Since 1992 Rhett has independently released eight CDs and was honored for his commitment and dedication in 2011 with an induction into the Blues Hall of Fame as Master Blues Artist from NY.
Rhett performs either with his electric band or as solo acoustic artist. The band is a progressive fusion-blues power trio billed as Rhett Tyler & Early Warning that features Rhett Tyler on guitar and lead vocals, Doug Howard on bass and backing vocals, and Mike Piescki on drums.
