Bio
Rh+/- was born in 2011 and is the collaboration of art school grads Senru (Jeff Bai) and Erin Munro .
Senru (programming, beats, live electronics, keys), one of Canada's first self-described 'witch-house' artists, had been working with break beats, future garage, and electronic music since 2009, releasing an EP and some remixes on Toronto's fizx recordings label in 2011-present. Always welcoming collaboration and remixes, Senru was looking for an electro-acoustic musician for live performance.
Erin (viola, live looping, pedal effects, keys, vocals) is a classically trained musician and multi-instrumentalist. When the two met she was playing with a folk-rock band and local orchestra while working on her own song sketches by night using vocals, loop pedals and effects. She was lusting for a project with an electronic bent and when the two jammed one night, Rh +/- was born. Together this duo create an engaging tapestry of atmospheric, genre-blending sound.
