Starting in October of 2004, RHYME MIND THEORY has quickly become San Antonio's premiere Hip-Hop ensemble that captivates all walks of life. Beginning with core members RHYME MIND THEORY performed relentlessly week after week and developed a consistent fan base. The distinctive RHYME MIND sound began to take shape once percussion and trumpet joined the ensemble.

While essentially Hip-Hop, RHYME MIND THEORY’s distinctive jazz fusion/experimental rock style is influenced by bands such as The Roots, Hieroglyphics, Diggable Planets, Wu Tang Clan, De La Soul, Beastie Boys, Blackstarr, The Doors, Radiohead, Modest Mouse and Wilco. RHYME MIND THEORY’s appreciation for many genres of music gives the band a frighteningly original sound.

LENNOX GONZALEZ is the lead vocalist whose rhythm and rhyme embodies RHYME MIND THEORY. Since childhood, music has influenced and shaped his life. The sounds of artists such as The Roots, Mos Def, Del, Jurassic 5 and more are inspirations for Lennox today.

DAVE WADE, the guitar player that keeps his cool, contributes his gift on the strings to the group. He has performed with… before joining forces with RHYME MIND THEORY. Influenced by… Dave keeps the hip-hop rocking.

Bassist ADAM “Woody” WADE holds the groove of the group and keeps it funky. Playing bass since…, he has performed with… in the …area. Influenced by… Woody is the commander of the groove.

Drummer ROBERT SIERRA has been feeling the hip-hop beat with Lennox since 2004. Influences include … Robert’s feel of the beat and stroke of the sticks have played a major role in RHYME MIND THEORY’s original sound.
