BandHip Hop

A new school blend of intelligent hip hop and groove.

Biography

Having grown up throughout the gorgeous scenery of BC, I really have no business being a rapper (as we think of them). It's in my veins though.
My sound is a direct representation of life as most know it. There's no tales of guns and selling heroine to pay rent. It's simply honest, down-to-earth music that the average person can relate to and feel.
The beats range from heavy to strictly groove ridden and ignore any chance of being confused with crunk or gansta.
I just finished recording my latest project, "the death of mediocrity" with producer Philip Janz. We're extremely excited about this project and plan to have it pressed by the end of March.
I've recently taken on a dj by the name of Dan Janzen to take performances to the next level. Honestly, hip hop can get pretty dull when there is just one man on stage. So, currently we're putting together a show that introduces other features and instruments to keep people on their toes.
I'm fairly annoyed with rap and where it's headed, and do everything I can to bring it back to "cool".

Set List

The typical set list lasts around a half hour. This generally gives us a chance to knock out about six tracks and a couple improve acts. We like ending while people still want more.
