The winds of Eastern Oregon have brought Rian Beach and his alt-country musical style to Eugene. After years of fronting bands (Regards for Chalk, Marathon Monkey, and Hoptow) and occasional solo projects, Rian is now directing his efforts to being a singer/songwriter. Raised in Portland and Pendleton, Rian began playing music while in high school and has since seen many a Northwest bar and stage. Having spent seven years touring throughout the Western United States he brings experience, poise, and passion to every performance
Rian's music can be described as Neil Young meets Ryan Adams. With country, rock and indie influences his music has a diverse style yet maintains unique and fresh. This diversity is represented in his songs from the country meets rock "Sagebrush" to the eloquent and emotional "Urgent Jungle." With a howling voice and loads of melody filled songs, Rian will capture your attention and your listening interest.
