BandFolkSinger/Songwriter

I am a singer/songwriter largely influenced by folk and indie artists such as Johnny Cash and Neil Young. Also by contemporary artists like City and Colour, Iron and Wine, and Dustin Kensrue. Basically a mix of all the artists I belive to be the true musicians in the shallows of the music industry.

Biography

Currently I have no backup band so I play solo with Dobro and a kick drum. The music is a mix of a lot of styles including singer/songwriter, folk, indie, depression era, and blues. I am influenced by singer/songwriters such as City and Colour, Iron and Wine, Dustin Kensure, Johnny Cash, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, and Damien Rice. And bands including The Avett Brothers, Against Me, Tiger Army, Thrice, Rise Against, and The Reverend Horton Heat. I've been focusing solely on music for the last year and have put everything i have into making "The Lonely Road...". Even though I work 40 hours a week, I have put myself into debt just to have a chance to do what I was born to do, play music. I believe that one day people will long for a deeper connection to the music they listen to and not just "something to dance to" and real music will finally make a comeback. I would love nothing more than to contribute all that I am and all that I have to this movement.
