good morning

some show, man &
it was worth waiting for & gonizing over.

The second set was mind-blowing
indigenous funk

I use'ta go to this blues place in Georgetown when I was stationed in DC - 78 or so

the place was called the Blue Bayou
or something like that - your second set took me back there

The first set was so meditative that as each piece ended it was like being tugged home with a bump.

I wish we'd had all night.

you guys are blowing up the Native American style flute box
& changing the rules. Though most of us came in on the traditional end of the spectrum you're making your own traditions
and re-defining the instrument's limitations - or better, its lack of limitations.

I enjoy the old early Carlos Nakai & Gordon Gulledge hard-core indigenous stuff but I've always believed that if the flutes will do it - why not take them as far as they'll go & as you proved again last night - these flutes will go wherever your skill & heart allow.
