Biography

Richard Webster is a native Michigander. Coming from a rich heritage of musicians, richard was fascinated with the music he heard and wanted to be a part of this great family history. Richard studied piano during his teen years and from there he continued his studies with the Detroit Conservatory of music, Detroit Institute of musical art, Schoolcraft college of music and various workshops across the metropolitan area. Richard began composing in the late sixties and he had many performances highlighting other composers as well as his own copyrights. Richard has been Minister of music at various churches in the Metro Detroit area and has composed over 200 songs from every genre compiled into a work called second summer. Richard is currently working on a project of a liftime called "Empathy" which highligts the great work of compositions relevant to slavery and the struggles of religious comfort and reflection. Richard has always reinvented himself and it looks as though, he is truly destined for worldwide greatness and educating our musical youth of the future.
