Biography

When you first hear Rich you will realize that he is an original. This is true whether he is doing some old blues written by one of the masters from the past, or a song written by Rich himself. This comes from 40 years of playing and singing as an entertainer in the public. Rich has even toured with special services in Viet Nam, playing blues rock in concerts across the country. Since that time Rich has played in various bands and as a single act in the Kansas City area.

Over the years Rich has honed his unique finger picking style and alternate rhythmic patterns into a soulful and energetic mix, accented by his dynamic vocals.

He has opened for national artists such as Joan Jet, The Cate Brothers, Kenny Neal, The Marshal Tucker Band, Anthony Gomes, and Little Ed and the Blues Imperials.

In 1999 Rich had a song picked to be in a local movie, made for independent movie festivals by a Kansas City producer David Byerly.

Rich currently has two albums released independently as is in the process of working on a third one. This album as well as the other two, have only material written by Rich.

Rich is still growing in his music and venue opportunities, and can be seen at some of the premier blues venues in the Kansas City area.
