In 2009, Rich made the move to Portland, Ore., where he quickly immersed himself into Portland’s diverse music scene.
When asked what makes his music stand out, Rich said “I have the ability to change my delivery to different beats and still keep that southern slang and make it all mix smooth.”
In the winter of 2009 he met with Red Carpet Entertainment to headline his first Portland show at Aura nightclub. Three months later he released his first, full-length CD, “Mind on My Mill.” Soon after, Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes would help him produce his first song released on a mixtape in the U.S.,“Money Stand Tall.”
Many more are sure to come as Rich is hard at work in the studio at Magic Closet Studios, where he does most of his recording. Look for the release of his second album, due summer 2010.
