Bio

Describing Ricks music with just a few adjectives is a tough task because it comes at you from so many directions. His lyrics strike you first with their penetrating honesty about life and love and the world we live in. Originally from Portsmouth, Ohio, Rick came to Nashville to pursue his love, and it didn't take long before he was drawing attention from all the major record labels in town and would sign a deal with Steven Spielberg's company "Dreamworks".. and begin recording an album with legendary record producer James Stroud.. Rick has had songs recorded by a wide range of artist from classic country like Earl Thomas Conley and Eddie Raven to new country like Montgomery/Gentry, Julianne Hough, Jason Michael Carroll, Sarah Darling and Rio Grande.. His music is so lyrically honest he pulls you in without ever knowing it is happening to you. You just keep listening...
