"Hager to Play in Bremen and Zanesville"

Cambridge recording artist Rick Hager thanks all the supporters of his band called "The Brothers Band" and the encouragement from his friends and family in his music.
Hager was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1990 he was awarded top vocalist in the Cleveland area. He has played with Alabama, Willy Nelson, Lee Greenwood, Bo Diddley, Shanen Doah, Clint Black, The Forester Sisters, John Conlee, Kentucky Headhunters, Billy Ray Cyrus Band, and more.
At the age of 18, Hager joined the U.S. Army where he spent the next 7 years. He continued to work on his music and played in Germany with his first band called the Country Hoodlums.
After leaving the military, he became a policeman in the Cleveland area where he spent the next 5 years and continued to work on his music.
Hager's talent includes a wide range of instruments which includes the piano, bass guitar, drums, and his first true love the lead guitar. He is currently working on the saxaphone.
He decided to move his family to Cambridge (Southern Ohio) where he built his own home and has a studio where he does all of his recordings.
He's not quite finished with his full CD at the present time. Although, his single is now ready for release.
Hager's intentions are to take his performance next year to Nashville, perhaps starting at the N.S.A.I., formerly known as the Bluebird Cafe.
Recently he toured with a great singer and song writer Harry James from Nashville and has been invited to come back to Nashville to perform.
While in Nashville, Hager hopes to land some opportunities that "may make my career even sweeter."
Hager is currently playing with Mike Sigler, former steel guitar player for Holly Dunn, and Mike's group the Nashville North at various places. Hager was featured at the Liberty Bell restaurant in Bremen, Ohio in September. He will return for a show there Nov 3.
The Liberty is the place to hear classic country and gospel, and where David Church (Hank Sr. Tribute) and Doug Brewin (as Alan Jackson) have performed.
Hager hopes to keep bringing his act back to Cambridge. He thanks members of Cambridge Eagles, family and friends for their support.
Hager will also perform Dec. 1, 2007 at the Sunrise Center in Zanesville. - Jeffersonian
