"Ricky Joe at The Moonshine Cafe"

"Rick has an infectious energy in his shows that keeps the audience
engaged... always fresh, never disappointing. "
John Marlatt, Owner, The Moonshine Café, Oakville

- The Moonshine Cafe

Discography

Ricky Joe Vella’s debut album, Float, is a friendly and minimal experience, invitingly driven by little more than warm acoustic guitar hooks and an absorbing mix of insightful and just plain fun lyrics. The fundamental approach to the songwriting and
recording is reminiscent of an early Bob Dylan album. The willingness to allow spontaneity into the songs and the effort behind making the whole recording seem effortless is clear. All of this firmly underscores an energetic, familiar album that marries humour and soul.
