Bio
Ricky is a handsome, young, talented singer and songwriter with the style,
sound, looks, and personality to keep you wanting more!
He played College Baseball for USC and is now a Class AA Minor League Baseball Umpire. This USC Graduate is very popular with the Southeast College scene and is quickly becoming a household name.
He recently won the New Band Local’s contest, has performed locally at many locations in the 5pts and Vista area. Ricky has even had his own venue sponsored by Bacardi called “Cowboy Up” at Local’s. This venue was such a success that Bacardi has requested to sponsor Ricky at a second “Cowboy Up” venue which will be held in the fall of this year.
Raised on the out skirts of Columbia, South Carolina, Ricky first developed his musical talent in church. It was in high school that he felt the need to expand past the boys’ choir and taught himself how to play the guitar. From this he then learned piano and a few other musical instruments.
Due to events in his life he found that writing down his thoughts and emotions became a great way to release his feelings. From this he put his emotions and life experiences to music and found he had a gift , not only for singing and performing, but for songwriting as well.
With this gift he has created over 60 songs. When you hear his unique voice telling a story with such emotion, you can't help but to get captivated by the sound.
