Rico Dasheem

Born in Trenton raised in Illinois, this spoken word artist recognized his natural communicative writing ability in high school when as a school group project "the3'Ds", were selected to promote their winning song: You can't Do it.

The Senior year class picked thier song promoting no drinking and driving. The song proved to be such a hit that it was played during the week of prom at school over the intercom and over local radio stations. With the taste of success under the group's belt there was no stopping them. Their success continued budding into a local following, from there he continued to write about social issues utilizing the art of spoken poetry.

This artists recognizes its been a long hard road, with many dues paid, and is more than ready to embrace his calling of success. Looks like we will be hearing more from Rico D in the very near future so keep your eyes and ears open!
