I feel like it's been awhile since we've heard a good R&B/Club hit from a brand new artist. Rico Davis new single "Freakshow" definitely has that hit potential. It's got that uptempo beat and catchy hook that you need and Fatman Scoop brings his usually energy to the track to take it to the next level.
The only problem for me is that it seems like there's something missing that's keeping this from being a real big single but I can't quite put my finger on it. I'm definitely feeling the song as a whole but at the same time there's nothing that really sets it apart from the rest of the uptempo R&B songs you hear on the radio. It's probably going to get some radio spins but at the same time, it could get lost in the shuffle. It's tough to say.

I can't pictures in my wildest dreams someone actually buying a Fatman Scoop track so why not provide it for free? Anyways this song is titled Freakshow that would make a good song for any party or any club, shit I bet the strippers would dig this too. Phenomenal talent is something that is rarely discovered in today's music world, which is filled with cookie-cutter artists and sounds. Born and raised in Camden New Jersey, Rico Davis is the music lover's breath of fresh air as he not only writes, sings, dances and performs his own original music but does so in his own very unique way. The south Jersey native began his journey around the age of 10 winning numerous talent shows at various high schools. As he progressed he then traveled to Germany, Italy, and Puerto Rico dominating international vocal competitions. Demonstrating he was more than just another young kid with a great voice Rico also showed he was an all around talent while dancing back up for major recording artist Jill Scott. The 21 yeard old pop superstar is currently promoting his debut single "Freakshow" Featuring legendary hype man Fatman Scoop and is also working with several talented producers on his EP "The Broken-Hearts Club" dropping this fall.
