Rieke Katz studied Jazz voice in Nuremberg and subsequently moved to Karlsruhe, her bags packed with manuscripts of captivating soundscapes which glow and shimmer.
No trip would be complete without instrumental companions Martin Sörös (piano), Alexander Bayer/Sebastian Schuster (bass), Christoph Braun (trumpet) and the man of groove Björn Glindemann (percussion). They underpin the musical journey, setting exquisite scenes for Katz's multifaceted voice.
Wrapping you up in a blanket of sound, now thick and rich, now light and airy, this is music which picks you up and takes you places.
