1) "Bartók's Room" (Musea Records 2000) being published by a french company was chosen for the "Selection Of The Month" receiving great reviews from countries such as Austria, The U.S., Japan, Germany, Italy and Argentina.
2) "Mitxelena III: Nauthiz" the first of a trilogy self published. (Independent Release 2004)
3) "Música de película" a compilation of pieces written for two short films shot in Australia directed by Marcel Rasquin "Ring" (2.003) and "Happy Endings" (2.004).(Independent Release 2004)
4) "Mitxelena II: Atlantique" his fourth CD was published along with the re edition of his previous albums. The second of the Trilogy (Latido Music 2009)
5) "Rigel Mitxelena Trio" the last of the Trilogy soon to hit the markets at the en of 2011. (Pilla Records). Launching the national and international tour.

Bio
Musician from Caracas-Venezuela with a discography of six (6) solo albums and many collaborations as band member, as a recording session musician or on stage to rock the audience.
His music career has taken the many forms:
* Being part of French pianist-composer Laurent LéCuyer's jazz-fusion quartet since 2004. Together they have played in numerous venues and Jazz festivals.
* In 2005 he joins the band "Bacalao Men" and works with them until 2007 and now days back on stage.
* As a session musician Rigel has collaborated with several national and international figures in studio as well as touring (Soul Machine -Mallorca-, JEMM -Aruba-, Divine, Roque Valero, Elisa Rego, Kiara, Víctor Muñoz, Los Hidalgo, Angel James, Ciudad Satélite).
* He has also been involved in the production, post production, audio editing and mixing of several works such as Venezuelan bass player Oscar Fanega's "Solo Bass" (2003) and "Bass & Percussion" (2009).
* Produced music for national and international commercials (Coca-Cola, Nokia, Ariel, Mabe among others).
* Involved as a guitarist and programmer with several producers (Julio D'Escriban, Álvaro Cordero, Olegario Díaz, Pablo Estacio, Javier Blanco, Carlos Cuéllar, Arturo Cabrera).
* On July 2010 the film "Hermano" was premiered with original music by Rigel.
