Bio
Originating from Birmingham, Riley has crafted a soulful acoustic sound underpinned by poetical lyrics. With her influences being as wide-ranging as Billie Holiday and Lena Horn to the late great Michael Jackson Alicia Keys and Marsha Ambrosius. With an eclectic mix of pop, acoustic and neo soul, Riley has crafted a sound that resonates. While performing provides creative release, crafting and creating songs is her passion and art. Her lyrics are often poetic and create images of the truth that reverberates with the listener.
Riley has performed at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, along with performances at Leicester Square, London. Riley was also a featured artist as ‘one to watch for the future’ with BBC radio Suffolk. Riley played a key role in the inaugural Manchester urban music festival. She has also had the privilege of performing at the illustrious ‘Deal Real Records' at Carnaby Street London.
