Rintrah

Rintrah

BandMetalRock

One part Tool, One part Queens of the Stone Age, One part Pink Floyd combine to make Rintrah a different beast altogether. Vocals on the cleaner side and a nice mix of rock and progressive metal gives us the ability to cross over and mesh well with a broader range of bands in general.

Biography

It sometimes seems as if Rintrah started with the stars aligning and Jupiter entering the 7th house of Mars. Brett decided to quit a good paying job in Chattanooga to move to Nashville and get serious about music while at about the same time, Jason was realizing that the corporate life was not for him in Louisville, KY and wanted to move back to Nashville as well. Being long time friends from high school and always musically inclined, we knew it was time to form a band.

Having previously played with drummer Caleb Roney and bassist Jeremy Flemming, Jason played some music Brett had written in Chattanooga for the two. After hearing and enjoying it, Caleb asked "who is this?", to which Jason merely responded "the band you are about to be a part of".

Hell yeah.

We all know we want to do with our lives. We write music. We write music that doesn't really sound like other music. Sure, comparisons will be made, but in the end, we think we've managed to make something that sounds like Rintrah and what sounds like Rintrah becomes more and more evident as time goes on.

We are inspired by whatever we see every day that brings a smile or frown on our faces. We don't write to get laid, get signed, get money(though we all enjoy all of those things). We do it because we hear the shit passing for music everywhere we go and and there's nowhere to go but up.
