"10 EDM Artists You Should Know Right Now"

In the “About” section on RIOT’s Facebook page they are self-described as Electronic Degenerate Music. Hailing from Atlanta (a hot bed for incredible talent), these two artists have a bright future ahead of them. Just take a listen to the original & free track “The Black Lodge” from their Soundcloud and you will see why. - Onebeat

"Popeska's "Heart Of Glass" gets the RIOT treatment [Premiere]"

...RIOT dishes out an aggressive electro house revision that relies on a complextro mentality. The mysterious duo from Atlanta even spin a haunting nuance into the track, brought out by a wobbly synth line that carries a listener through grinds and basslines. With this release, the young American electronic producers have started to climb the lofty ladder to industry recognition. - Earmilk

"RIOT Unleashes an Unbelievable 110 BPM Soundscape with American Beauty [Free Download]"

Two relatively unknown producers out of Atlanta, Georgia have just unleashed the sickest track I’ve heard in the last week. I gotta say, I absolutely love it when up and comers, like RIOT, dish up something that is as well made as it is unique... - YourEDM

"Redeemer by RIOT"

Whatever you’ve done in the past, releasing killer tracks like this are a good step towards redeeming yourself. RIOT shows that he’s got the mad skills thoroughly locked down, and demonstrates early in the beat that he’s playing for keeps. ‘Redeemer’ is a midtempo glitch affair, that’s certainly on the heavier side of the spectrum. No matter though, because what’s in here is smooth as butter and very well executed. The distorted rock feel and the shuffle feel prove to be a deadly combination, and RIOT’s giving this one away for free. -

Still working on that hot first release.

What began as a simple collaboration between producers Niko the Kid and Chris Rimby has blossomed into what could be considered the greatest musical act of all time.  No, for real though, things have been going pretty well.  With releases on Ministry of Sound's "The Future Sound of EDM" compilation and Wolfgang Gartner's Kindergarten Records just to name a few, RIOT is claiming their place on the world stage.  They balance raw aggression and raucos funk to create bloodbaths on dance floors.
