A one woman show, Ms. Caine has mastered not only her guitar but the computerized generation's ability to create a terrific CD at home on her computer. She’s performed at the fests, SXSW, Estrojam, Rockrgrrl, Atlantis, Ladyfest, Chicks Rock Fest, MPMF, and Grrlfest, etc. She’s opened for many including, Patrice Pike, Ari Hest and comedian, Margaret Cho. Her CD “Lover” was named Album of the Year 2002, track #1 (“Hey Mister”) won first place in the Chicago Music Madness competition, and pre-release versions of the CD earned the prestigious “Producer’s Choice Award” at the Access 2 Amsterdam Music Festival in the Netherlands. Stylistically her music has been compared to Jeff Buckley, PJ Harvey, Cat Power, The Doors, Radiohead and many, many, more.
