Bio
Once upon a time, two Brothers, growing up in Central Texas, were bombarded with everything from Jim Croce to George Strait to the Red Hot Chili Peppers. So, the story goes: The younger brother, Weston Ripps, specialized in percussion and vocals, and picked up guitar and piano along the way. The older brother, Travis, specialized in bass guitar and backup vocals, and picked up guitar along the way. Now, with years of playing in bands; a cover band called Scattershot, and an original funk-rock band called the Jumping Monks, under their belt, they have decided to allow their roots to come out in a very original style. The Ripps Brothers are born.
