"LOS PATRONEZ" COMING SOON! Ecuadorian producer `Rique has been tearing up the underground scene with his hard-hitting, Latin flavored tracks. He came up with his label "Mejor Sabor Entertainment" in 2003 and started producing Rap/Hip-Hop. Now he's gone back to his roots and has devoted his time and efforts to producing various Latin genres such as Merengue, Salsa, Bachata and Las Pistas de Reggaeton. His influences include the Afro-Cuban classics of Tito Puente, big-time Salsa group "El Gran Combo", rappers N.O.R.E. AKA Noreaga, Tego Calderon, and Eddie Dee. `Rique's biggest influence comes from producer Boy Wonder. `Rique likes to explore various Latin genres and incorporates traditional sounds to make an improved sound. `Rique owns a studio in Toronto, Canada and is in the process of upgrading his equipment. He works on MAGIX, Pro Tools LE 7.0 and GoldWave. `Rique has currently taken on a Reggaeton duo called "Los Patronez" and is developing an album that should be released sometime around the "Spring Break". Although it seems as if `Rique is heading in only one direction in the music world, he is very passionate about all Latin music and would like to produce for some big names in every genre.
