Best known for her duets with Dan Hill including, "In Your Eyes", "Hold Me Now", the duet version of "Sometimes When We Touch" and the remake of "Can't We Try", Rique Franks has sung with many Canadian and international recording stars such as Alexander O'Neal, Glass Tiger, Alannah Myles, and Glen Lewis, to name a few. As a busy session singer and speaking-voice personality, Rique has sung and/or read many memorable commercials for countless products. Currently Rique can be seen with Orchestra London in the "Jeans 'n' Classics" series, Kathryn Rose and with Sue Breit, Andrea Koziol, and Lis Soderberg as one quarter of "Lushus", a foursome of singer/songwriters.
In her 15 year career in advertising, Rique has either sung or been the speaking voice in hundreds of different radio and television commercials and is also the on-air voice of Showcase Television.
