Bio
Rising's original lineup formed in 2006. Original members Alfredo Venuto (vocals) and Peter Chiusano (Bass) have been playing with Patric Valentine (Drums)for over a year, and Kelly Motilal (Guitar) for six months. After over two years of performing, recording, and several lineup changes, we are finally set with the brand new lineup.
With shows that have great energy, we are seperating ourselves from many local bands. Playing metal with musicianship and melody, avoiding trends, playing metal the way it should be, raw, gritty, and stripped down, and making the crowd enjoy every show.
Musical influences range from STP, Alice in Chains, Rage Against the Machine and Soundgarden to Bob Marley, Bad Brains, Jimi Hendrix, and the Allman Brothers.
We are currently writing new material as well as recording the bands first demo, to be released in 2009.
