"The next band on the night’s line up was Rising Up Angry. I was anticipating something extraordinary was planned for the crowd. After a few moments the sound of guitars and drums came from behind the curtain as the band was tuning up, keeping the crowd held in suspense. Then the venue’s lights went out and all that could be seen was bright green lights illuminating the stage. Chris Turbo and Mick Vega came running from backstage, as their guitars intertwined they traveled back and forth from each side of stage at neck breaking speeds, displaying their raw passion for performing. Vocalists Jason charmed the crowd with his low and high-end octaves and his powerful lyrics, as he displayed an effortless presentation. The audience exhibited sheer support by throwing their fists in the air and screaming with exhilaration. Bassists Eric Frale with the accompaniment of drummer Joe Carlson made the perfect receipt for rhythm, adding spice and life to their overall sound. Finishing with “Regret” the band continued with an absolute thrilling stage performance and light show while the crowd continued to cheer themselves horse. Rising Up Angry is an upcoming national Metal band breaking out of Orlando, FL. Formed back in Chicago in 1997 by Chris Williams (Chicago) on Guitars and Mick Vega (Chicago) on Guitars. Soon after relocating to Orlando, they found Eric Frate (New York) on Bass, Marc Sugarman (Florida) on Keys /Samples, Joe Carlson (Detroit) on Drums. After molding the sound of the band for many years and auditioning 62 singers from around the world the group decided on Jason Ash (Texas) to fill the position as the bands front man. Rising Up Angry’s live show is not to be missed. Sharing the stages with countless National acts such as: Shinedown, Saliva Rob Zombie, Atreyu, Lacuna Coil, Sevendust, Soil, Drowning Pool, Taproot, Nonpoint, Mudvayne, Trivium, Dark New Day and many, many more. Over the years Rising Up Angry has formed a unique and original sound of there own. In the past year and countless hours of recording, Rising Up Angry is ready to release the new CD titled “ON ANGRY GROUND�. This CD consists of Dueling Guitars, Shredding Solos, Thunderous Bass lines, In depth drumming, Intricate keys/samples and rounded out with extremely catchy melodies and strong choruses. Sure to be won over by the masses. Rising Up Angry already has more then 30 tour dates booked across the United States and Canada for late summer of 2009 to promote the new CD.
