Most Musicians make music to reach people's ears, Risk On Da Disk is trying to make music that reaches all the way to people's souls. Hailing from Tulsa,OK., with a heritage rooted in Native America, Risk On Da Disk is a Reggae/Hip Hop fusion that formed in 2010. The all original music moves with a positive flow from thought-provoking lyrics that harken back to old school Hip Hop, mashed up with a Reggae rhythm and melodic bluesy guitar leads. A wide array of musical influences allow R.I.S.K. to have no boundaries when it comes to their vision. Those influences are manifested by the steady and solid leads and rhythm guitar playing of Mikeydread007 (Michael Childers) and Monsta Hood (Mark Hood). These guitar players bring an old school rock and reggae influence to the band's sound. Don T (Trey Neeley) provides a consistent foundation on the drums, with the ability to flow from one style to the next. Killa Wes (Wesley Childers) brings it all together with his vocals rooted in Hip Hop and the thought provoking messages of original lyrics. We use our life's happenings as the basis for our songs.
