Rita Pax is a band formed in 2012 by singer/songwriter Paulina Przybysz (formerly known from the band Sistars (Mtv Awards 2004, 2005, best polish act) and from solo recordings as Pinnawela). The band writes songs having their roots in the 60s soul and rock but filtered through the modern sensitivity. It's electro-acoustic music utilizes a wide range of instruments, from guitar and rhodes piano to viola da gamba and vibrafonetta. Other band members are Kasia Piszek, Pawel Zalewski, Piotr Zalewski and Remek Zawadzki. In December of 2012 the band released their first tune entitled Hey Christmas! (a unique christmas song). Rita Pax's LP is to be released in the spring of 2013.
