Dr. Rita L. Twiggs
Pastor, Evangelist, Teacher, Author, and Psalmist
The oldest of six children, Pastor Twiggs, sang her first song, the Old Rugged Cross, at age 5. Strongly influenced by her mother, Pearl, and grandmother, Jewel, Pastor Twiggs began to study music by age 6, and has pursued her desire for music mastery since that time. She is currently focused on her studies in a double degree program of Sacred Music & Biblical Studies. Pastor Twiggs serves as Associate Pastor at the Potters House Church of Dallas, Texas, where she also resides.
Her first love is Jesus Christ, her second love is preaching and teaching about Jesus, but her third passion is music. Pastor Twiggs has traveled and preached, played with and composed for bands, trained and directed choirs, and led worship for over thirty years. Now, her dream of writing and recording her own music has come true. This preacher sings!
Now, Pastor Twiggs is releasing 2 New CDs! She has carefully & prayerfully sought the Lord for each song to include under each title. These CDs are a much-needed musical balm for the soul and spirit of the church, and all who dare to listen. The sweet aroma of this music will release prayer and praise to the Father from the soul that loves Him.
