Ritual Misery was formed in October of 2005. Quickly emerging in the Pennsylvania metal scene, Ritual Misery is catching the attention of true metal heads in central PA. Going back to the true elements of metal in a modern day setting. Tony Rodriguez and Dustin Flickinger met early in the summer of 2005. They had the idea of starting an agressive metal band. In the search for a metal drummer, they struck gold late in the summer with Ben Oberholtzer. Song writing began immediately. In the search for a Bassist, Matt Hensel, Dedicated and willing to travel, was brought into the family. Ritual Misery formed an incredible work ethic early in its forming. Non-stop song writing and dedication are very important elements in the band.
