Rivaside is a Latin/American duo from Paterson,NJ, consisting of Carlos "Dope Boy Fly" Santiago & Dennis "Oskama" Rolon. They also go by Ziploc Gang when doing certain projects with their inhouse producer Teddy "Tall Ted" Martinez. The groups style of music is "Trap Pop" aka Hardcore-HipHop with a pop sound. Oskama & Dope met in the year of 2006 and have been rap partners ever since. Dope & Oskama reside 3 blocks away from each other. Oskama is from Sparrow st. and Dope is from Keen st. which are located on the Riverside/4th ward area in Paterson,NJ. in 2012 The duo opened up for hip-hop acts like Rick Ross, French Montana, Red Cafe, Uncle Murda, Tony Yayo & etc. They are Paterson's Spanish face to hip-hop. Their buzz came from online promoting & youtube videos. They are influenced by their city & family. Dope Boy Fly is the metaphorical slick rapper.. while Oskama is the Punchline battle rapper. Dope Boy Fly's block Keen Street was mentioned as one of the "Most Feared" hispanic blocks in Pro Football Player Victor Cruz's "Out of the Blue" book. Victor Cruz is one of their inspirations because he is also from Paterson,NJ.
