About The Band
River City Movement, or RCM, began as the initial element to FERVENT Ministries. Originally known as FERVENT worship, the band changed their name to RCM in 2015. Taking current popular praise and worship songs from such great worship leaders such as Chris Tomlin, Kristian Stanfill and Lincoln Brewster and fusing these songs with their own frank straight-from-the-heart writing style, RCM has developed a unique sound and structure. Each worship service is focused entirely on worship as a unified body of Christ. It is a "Movement" away from mundane routine worship and into a new passionate time with our savior and creator.
From the swelling rock feel of songs such as "Gods Great Dance Floor" and "Forever" to the soft intimate sounds of songs such as "Who You Are" and "Jesus Loves Me", RCM strives to provide an avenue of worship for all kinds. Those who worship demonstratively will find all the freedom they need to clap, jump and shout. Those who worship quietly and reflectively will also find the freedom to sit quietly in their chair if they want to. It is not the MANNER in which we worship it only matters THAT we worship.
