"1st Review"

"Out of Monroe, LA. I caught these guys Live and was BLOWN AWAY! Hence, when I listened to the album I was a bit let down. Don?t get me wrong, they still tear it up on the album but the energy they create Live cannot possibly translate to the recording. The album picks up VERY quickly as track 2 is my favorite. Overall, the whole album is a pretty good listen. The singer has a distinctly powerful voice, no cracking or falsetto, and he sings his ass off. Reminds me at times of the late Shannon Hoon of Blind Melon or Chris Cornell. The sound is heavy/southern rock with some funk thrown into the mix but some of these songs are gems. A couple make me think of Maroon 5 ripped on meth with Les Claypoolesqe bass, especially track 2. All of them have honest to goodness full-length guitar leads!! I thought those had gone the way of the Dodo bird. There is no denying the talent in these guys (most of them play several instruments on the album and switched off on stage) but they need a bit of time for their sound to mature. More than worth a listen and if you get the opportunity DO NOT miss them live!" ..91.5 WTUL New Orleans, Brian. - 91.5 WTUL New Orleans.
