Formed in the summer of 2005 in the secluded Ozark Mountains, River White have since attempted to bring the simplicities of a reclusive southern lifestyle to the heart of Minnesota. Thus defending the inherent human spirit of creativity in an era of fast-paced, dissonant existence. After a few years of steady writing alongside occasional public performances in central Minnesota (Eclectic Cafe, Brainerd; Black & White Hamburger Shop, Little Falls), the band has relocated to Saint Paul, shifting primary focus to the recording process.
River White is founded upon the idea of maintaining an organic soundscape, focusing on inventive rhythms and instrumentation, while drawing lyrical inspiration from God, nature, relationships, and personal life experience.
