Triple-threat Artist/Producer/Engineer RiZion is their first offering. Representing the DC/MD/VA metropolitan area, RiZion has his sights on becoming the "next" great one with his debut CD, scheduled for September 5, 2008 release on RiMac’s Hip-Hop Division label "HLFW (Honesty, Loyalty, Friendship & Wealth) RECORDS". RiZion’s creativity, cultural awareness, and storytelling style are elements Hip Hop has always looked for in the next "great MC".

Influenced by Hip Hop icons such as LL Cool J, Snoop, Dr. Dre, Nas, Lord Finesse, Common, and a host of others, RiZion believes it is important to know who paved the way for the next generation of what the world knows as "the MC". "I think it’s crazy a lot of rappers today don't pay homage to who inspired them". Born in the "buggie-down Bronx", NY, and moving south to GA when his mother decided to follow her dreams as an R&B/Jazz vocalist, by the age of 12, RiZion and his mother had relocated to the DC Metropolitan area. It was there that RiZion grew closer to "The Music" as his mother took him from gig-to-gig, where she performed with the likes of Chuck Brown, Jean Carne, Pieces of A Dream, Mint Condition, Wynton & Ellis Marsalis, just to name a few. "Being around all those musicians at such a young age made music apart of who I am. It was never something I wanted to do; it was something that was inside me waiting to come out".

Through a chance meeting with Atlanta based, Multi-Platinum recording artist Creo-D of the group Duice (famous for the single "Dazzey Dukes" in the early 90's), RiZion began studying the dynamics of Bass and Miami style party music that Creo-D helped make famous in the south. "RiZion is a lyricist. Out of all the rappers I know, I put him in the top five I heard, and I heard a lot. I just wanted people to be able to party with him". Creo-D began to school RiZion on the techniques of engineering and production that led to the multi-platinum hit "Dazzey Dukes". "Without me meeting Creo-D, I wouldn't be the artist, producer, or engineer I have developed into today. That's my dude".

RiZion’s debut album "Riziometry.com" was inspired by his desire to pay homage to the Hip-Hop MC and Hip Hop culture of the past, while trying to help bridge the gap to the Hip-Hop MC and Hip-Hop culture of today. "I love Hip-Hop, always have and always will! My goal for "Riziometry.com" is to show people why I am next. It will show street poets that it’s ok to thank and pay homage to the MC’s that inspired us, because it’s important to give credit where credit is due".

RiMac Music Group, LLC /HLFW RECORDS plan to give the industry what it’s been waiting for.
